Sahara is one of eleven paintings in the Motherfunk collection, created just before my son turned two, and is a celebration of the strength, perseverance, and beautiful and wonderful everyday chaos of motherhood. The collection explores the idea that mothers are everyday superheroes, filled with life experiences and stories.
